Why Workshop 1 Matters in Activity 2<\/strong><\/p>

Workshop 1 represents the first practical step in Activity 2 of the\u00a0AI4All\u00a0project. While Activity 1 focused on developing the AI4All Handbook and short-burst training videos, Activity 2 is dedicated to testing these resources in real training environments, translating guidance into practical, replicable teaching practices.<\/p>

The Luxembourg workshop established a shared foundation for\u00a0inclusive and ethical AI use in education, allowing participants to develop baseline competences that will be further refined in Workshop 2. Workshop Title and Focus<\/strong><\/p>

Foundations of Inclusive AI in Teaching Practice: Inclusive Prompt Engineering for Accessible Digital Learning Content<\/strong><\/p>

The session focused on using\u00a0prompt engineering\u00a0to create accessible, inclusive digital learning content while respecting ethical, academic, and institutional standards. Participants explored AI as a supportive and assistive tool to strengthen\u00a0accessibility-by-design\u00a0and responsible digital education in higher education and vocational education contexts.<\/p>

Pedagogical Approach: Workshop Design<\/strong><\/p>

The workshop followed the\u00a0AI4All Framework for Conducting AI-Inclusive Hands-on Workshops, co-developed by\u00a0XU Exponential University (Germany)\u00a0and\u00a0Luxembourg Creative Lab. Rooted in\u00a0competence-based learning, the session combined short conceptual inputs with hands-on experimentation and reflection.<\/p>

Key principles included:<\/p>

  • Competence-based learning:\u00a0Developing transferable skills such as AI literacy, prompt engineering, inclusive content creation, and ethical AI integration.<\/li>
  • Universal Design for Learning (UDL):\u00a0Accessibility and inclusion were embedded throughout, using multiple means of representation, engagement, and expression.<\/li>
  • Learning-by-doing and micro-iteration:\u00a0Participants iteratively refined prompts and content through hands-on exercises.<\/li>
  • AI as a learning partner, not a shortcut:\u00a0Emphasis on transparency, academic integrity, and ethical AI use.<\/li><\/ul>

    • Test the structure and pacing of the 90-minute workshop<\/li>
